Boarding Passes Please!

I'm leaving on a jet-plane and I don't know when I'll be back again. Ok, I do. December 20th for winter break!!

I avoided crying in front of my people (Hi mom and dad!). I was super depressed while I waited for my plane thinking about my dogs. Pathetic, I know. On the plane, I sat next to a large and very cranky lady. She tried to steal my Kit Kat from me!!

My flight was very nice just one stop in Newark from Austin then to Edinburgh. Unfortunately, the layover in Newark was 5 hours long!! But thanks to Aubrey, I was able to indulge in agility videos. I did meet some wonderful Scottish couples who were headed back from a cruise. They gave me lots of helpful advice and well wishes.

The one great thing about flying over the ocean is the dinner-movie combo! The headrest in front had nifty built-in TVs. Movies, games, TV shows, music everything...after much deliberation, I got to watch Chocolat. Johnny Depp is amazing!

Here is a picture of my lovely dinner: chicken & rice with Milano cookies

A total of 15 hours of traveling and I have arrived safely!!

Hello!

A little introduction:

Lothian refers to the Scottish region which Edinburgh lies in. And I am a lass, hence "A Lass in Lothian".

For the next 5 years, I will be attending the University of Edinburgh's Royal School of Veterinary Studies. I've never been to Scotland before so it should be a BIG adventure.

I want to thank my parents for helping me get over here! They are simply the best and will miss them, Nathan, Aspen and Quiz dearly until Christmas!!
